Language comes from speaking. And that’s exactly what your language teacher prepares you for in your private learning chat in the NELA app. He will train you to speak so that you will be ready for your first real conversation using video conferencing. You will go through the following stages:

• You watch a video with a short story from everyday life as often as you like. Then you practice with your teacher what you learned in the video.
• You listen to the audio of the story to improve your listening comprehension. Again, your teacher will send you exercises and feedback.
• The grammar in the story is explained to you. Then you practice using it in different situations.
• You meet with your teacher for a 25-minute live lesson using video conferencing. During the conversation you notice how you can already apply all that you have learned.
• Your language teacher gives you direct feedback and further targeted exercises to help you successfully complete the lesson.
